Austria, too, is called upon to rise to these challenges with effective measures and creative climate protection ideas. What is most conspicuously missing from the usual quantitative definitions for office and commercial buildings is the qualitative aspect. Sustainability has a great deal to do with the quality of a building in terms of its practical usability and the emotional impact it has on users, and with the quality of what it accomplishes for these users and for the environment over the course of the building lifecycle. In this large-volume construction project, Fronius is rehabilitating the existing structures and creating new space at the Buxbaumstrasse sales & marketing site in such a way as to make an effective contribution towards sustainability and the necessary leap in energy efficiency at all levels, all without sacrificing convenience or quality.
