Brazilian automotive industry banks on Fronius

In 2004, technology leader Fronius set up a sales and service centre for Brazil in São Bernardo do Campo, close to São Paulo. Fronius do Brasil now employs 37 people. In 2007, the Brazilian subsidiary established a VSP (sales and service process) team in Churritiba to provide additional support to customers in the local automotive sector.

Fronius has an excellent reputation among well-known motor manufacturers, who have been enjoying the benefits of using the TransPuls Synergic MIG/MAG power source and the revolutionary CMT (Cold Metal Transfer) process in batch production for many years. The trade delegation from Upper Austria was able to experience this for itself during its recent visit to VW's Brazilian subsidiary.
