Fronius supports young welding professionals

The Austrian youth welding championships, an event to support young talents in the welding industry, took place this year for the fourth time.

The event is a combination and specialist competition which was initiated by the Institute of Business Promotion and the Austrian Chambers of Commerce. Austrian companies such as Fronius sponsored this event as a way to support the upcoming generation of welding professionals.

This welding competition comprises a practical section and a theory examination. There were two welding competitions: a specialist contest and a combination contest.

The winners of the national combination and specialist competition, Aydogan Tolgahan and Welte Daniel, both come from Vorarlberg. The main prize in each event, a TransPocket 1500, was donated by Fronius.
