Fronius opens new sales subsidiary in Australia

On May 2nd, the new Fronius International solar electronics sales subsidiary in Tullamarine, near Melbourne, was officially opened. The subsidiary covers 1700 m² and houses the sales offices, its own service centre and storage areas for Fronius inverters.

Fronius decided to expand due to the marked growth and tremendous potential of the Australian solar market."The Australian market is extremely important to Fronius and we see great potential here," explains Otto Schuster, director of sales and marketing at Fronius.
When Fronius International GmbH entered the Australian market in 2002, it was one of the first inverter manufacturers in the country. This headstart means that Fronius is now one of the top three providers in Australia.

The new sales subsidiary in Tullamarine currently employs twelve people. This number is expected to double in two years.
"Our new sales subsidiary brings us close to the customer, which means we can provide them with exceptional Fronius service," says David Hart, managing director of Fronius Australia.
