From now on, Fronius is offering a new service that will enable it to provide its customers with an even better range of products and services: the maintenance contract. The regular checking and replacement of wearing parts should reduce the number of unexpected faults and downtimes for customers.
The maintenance contract, now available in all European subsidiaries (from 2011 in the Ukraine), is modular in structure and is split into four service packages that gradually increase the level of service provided:
Basic: this package forms the basis for the other models and includes stocktakes, maintenance (according to the maintenance schedule), customer discussions, test reports and small parts (screws, nuts, shims, etc.). Maintenance is carried out once a year or as requested by the customer.
Compact: this is based on the Basic Level but includes a "safety inspection". It offers personal safety and operational reliability for its customers.
Comfort: includes "calibration" in addition to the services available under Compact. Fronius adheres to the requirements of EN 50504 "Validation of arc welding equipment". In addition, a software update service is available if required by the customer.
Premium: this package contains all Comfort Level services but also includes the free replacement of spare parts. The customer thus receives a full service including spare parts and a hardware update.
With the maintenance service contract, Fronius wants to ensure that costs for its customers are open and transparent, to deliver maximum system availability and to comply with statutory standards and regulations.
