Save energy with TransSteel 3500/5000 Multivoltage
24.02.2011
Featuring Steel Transfer Technology, a multivoltage version of the TransSteel 3500/5000 steel welding system is now available. In addition to the extension to the input voltage range, the user benefits from a lower current input, a lower mains grid load and improved weld properties.
One the one hand, the lower current input keeps connection costs to a minimum, while energy consumption falls due to the higher power factor of 93% compared with 73% for conventional power sources.
Other benefits include a lower mains grid load for the electricity supplier and welding results that are now more or less independent of the mains voltage. The input voltage range of 200 to 460 V provides the necessary degree of flexibility for varying voltage ratios. The TransSteel 3500/5000 Multivoltage is the ideal choice for worldwide use in steel construction.
