The invisible helper for the big show When viewing vehicles in the showroom, potential buyers do not want to just look, but to try out all the different features of the models. The on-board systems demand a massive amount of power from the vehicle battery. This places huge demands on the starter battery as it has to go through numerous charge and discharge cycles. Acctiva Series impresses Opel Rüsselsheim/Wels – The rapid and reliable charging ability of the Fronius Acctiva series has now impressed Opel Europe as well. Acctiva Easy - License to charge The Acctiva Easy already has a license to charge at several big-name automobile manufacturers, although this small yet powerful charger and tester is also perfect for private use. Whether for a motorbike, car, classic car, caravan or ride-on mower, the Acctiva Easy looks after the starter battery and increases its service life. Fronius expands its aftermarket activities Wels/Austria - To provide the desired mobility whenever required, batteries in modern cars have to deliver peak performance every day. The days when all the battery had to do was to provide the initial ignition charge are long gone. Today, the battery has to provide a continuous power supply for an ever-increasing number of in-car accessories and equipment, and has to support diagnosis procedures in the workshop. Battery charging systems from Fronius are used in all such situations. Fronius has concluded co-operation agreements with the Förch group and Knoll GmbH to expand considerably its activities within the automotive aftermarket sector. 27.03.2009

Mercedes-Benz campaign The on-board electronics of modern vehicles are sensitive and require electronically-safe charging of the starter battery. The workshop equipment department at Mercedes-Benz has launched a battery charger campaign to increase awareness of this within its dealership network. Platformers’ Days 2007 in Hohenroda, Germany Fronius presented its new Selectiva product range at the Platformers’ Days in Hohenroda, Hesse, Germany.
