5. Eisenach Logistics Forum with Fronius
This year's Eisenach Logistics Forum, which was held on March 21st 2012, was all about safety and optimisation in intralogistics. Sixteen exhibitors and dialogue sessions gave the more than 130 delegates many new and interesting impressions, information and contacts. Fronius used the occasion to deliver its first reports on the E-LOG-Biofleet project.
Lindig Födertechnik GmbH, which is based in Eisenach, is the main sponsor of the Eisenach Logistics Forum. In addition to the wide-ranging technical presentations, the breaks provided ample opportunity for an exchange of views and some networking. In the afternoon, the delegates were ferried to the LINDIG site, where during a one hour programme they had the opportunity to get their hands on some modern technology.
Fronius had a small stand and used the opportunity to give a presentation entitled "E-LOG-Biofleet: pilot project for a fuel-cell powered ground conveyors". Interest among the delegates about this alternative way of powering ground conveyors was very high – Marlon Rönnecke of Fronius Germany was able to make some very promising contacts.
A Fronius sales partner, Geraer-Batterie-Dienst GmbH, also had a stand at the Logistics Forum, and demonstrated Fronius Selectiva battery charging systems.
