Fronius sets a technological milestone in Turkey

From February 5th to 8th, the Istanbul exhibition centre opened its doors to the "World of Industries (WIN)" industrial fair. Fronius was able to underline and demonstrate its technological leadership.

The WIN is a yearly fixture in the Fronius trade fair calendar. Focusing on robotics and the automobile and component supply industry, Fronius lived up to its motto of "technological leadership" and displayed its full range of technology products in Turkey for the first time. The Fronius stand, which was built in Turkey, also dazzled with its new design:

Three robots, equipped with Fronius process arm peripherals and CMT, carried out live demonstrations. Two welding systems, networked via Ethernet and Fronius Xplorer to document the welding process, allowed visitors to monitor the welding data on a large screen during the process. The Fronius welding technology expert for Turkey, gave live demonstrations of the manual product range, including Microplasma, the plasma cutting system TransCut 300 and CMT. Visitors were treated to a display of the automated TIG welding of pipes on a dedicated "Orbital Stand" and were given a handy pen holder welded using CMT and Orbital. Another highlight were the end products on show that had been welded using Fronius technology, including car seats, exhausts, axles and chassis components.
