The Russian supplier of equipment for power plants LMZ (Leningradsky Metallichesky Zavod) relies on the quality of Fronius. One in 10 turbines worldwide was produced by LMZ, and the Russian company is the world’s number four in steam turbines.
LMZ (Leningradsky Metallichesky Zavod) in St. Petersburg is the biggest supplier of equipment for power plants in Russia, and thus one of Fronius key customers in this market.
LMZ produces gas, water, and steam turbines on the one hand, and blade wheels with various capacities and dimensions on the other. LMZ also manufactures and distributes other power plant supplies, as Siemens OEMs.
One in 10 turbines worldwide was produced by LMZ, and the Russian company is the world’s number four in steam turbines, hot on the heels of global players like General Electrics, Westinghouse, and Alstom-ABB. LMZ has supplied 700 power plants in 40 countries with 2,300 turbines.
