Time for innovation – Fronius at EuroBLECH 2010

EuroBLECH in Hannover will once again be the meeting place for the sheet metal working industry from 26th to 30th October. Innovative solutions and revolutionary technologies for this sector await visitors to the Fronius stand, E76 in Hall 13. Under the motto "First contact – Get in touch with the future of welding", the European market leader in arc welding will present the latest developments and practical benefits of innovations first unveiled in Essen in 2009.

CMT Advanced offers a 60% improvement in the deposition rate, even better gap bridgeability and extremely low welding emissions. This allows the welding current polarity and reversal of the wire movement to be incorporated into process control for the first time.

 
Virtual Welding from Fronius provides welding novices with a welding simulator that accurately reflects real life. Students are trained to weld in a completely safe environment using ergonomically designed welding torches, typical workpieces and adjustable welding parameters. Virtual Welding also enables savings in material and resources of up to 25%.

Fronius has made a breakthrough in contacting technology with Contec. The user is guaranteed a far higher level of cost-effectiveness resulting from a significant increase in the availability of the complete welding system and improved process stability.

TransSteel, based on Steel Transfer Technology, encompasses a wealth of knowledge geared specifically towards the steel market. TransSteel devices are considered to be robust and reliable partners in harsh environments due to their user-friendliness, optimum weld properties and intelligent design.

Tried and tested power sources and the DeltaSpot resistance spot welding system will also be found at EuroBLECH 2010; further examples of cutting-edge technological expertise.
