A new welding system is ready for market. Research & Development and Production concentrated not only on the physical elements of the new addition, but also on welding programmes. These welding synergics are responsible for the precise detachment of c. 300 individual droplets of welding material per second. They also control some 60 parameters to simplify and speed up the welding preparations for our customers.

In arc welding, the important thing is to define the 60 correct welding parameters which are needed for welding a specific material with a specific filler wire and gas in a specific position. These parameters must be defined for all three arc welding processes: MMA welding, MIG/MAG, and TIG welding.

Special arc welding engineer at Fronius have been dealing with developing new welding synergics, either for new systems or for special systems, since the eighties. All the welding programmes are stored in a database and can be sent to customers by e-mail. Today, this database contains over 1800 individual programmes.

The aim of the arc welding experts is a stable and largely spatter-free welding process with a pleasant arc sound, an attractive welding seam and a good burn profile.
