New and fully digital: TransTig 1750 Puls
30.03.2011
Future users of the new TransTig 1750 Puls will find a system that is small, robust and completely digitised. Weighing 9.1 kg, the TIG-DC power source is ideal for portable use on building sites. A built-in microprocessor guarantees an extremely stable arc and 100% reproducible weld properties. The TransTig 1750 Puls is suitable for use up to 170 A.
In the TransTig 1750 Puls, Fronius has developed a small device that achieves a great deal:
A simple operating concept ensures that the power source is quick and easy to use.
The pulse mode function allows lower heat input during TIG welding, better gap bridgeability and provides the best seam appearance.
The spot welding function can be used to accurately set welding intervals to one tenth of a second, therefore ensuring consistent spot welds.
TAC achieves quick and easy tacking by pulsing arcs in a single step.
Non-contact and gentle high frequency ignition prevents tungsten inclusions in sensitive applications.
Perfectly matched system components, such as a handheld or pedal remote control and welding torch, complete the system.
