TransSteel – here’s what’s new

Fronius’ TransSteel welding power sources for structural steel fabricators have now been joined by a recently-developed compact version – the TransSteel 3500 Compact. Another newcomer is the manual / machine welding torch MTG 5300 / MTG 5300-M, for extra-high performance.

The TransSteel 3500 Compact combines a compact design with digital welding technology and expert know-how. Thanks to its built-in wirefeeder, this welding power source is an ideal space-saving and resource-conserving solution, especially for workshop operations. The digitally controlled TransSteel 3500 Compact ensures 100 % reproducible results. Its made-to-measure welding characteristics, designed especially for structural-steel fabrication, deliver precise ignition and perfect welding behaviour.

Also designed for outstanding performance, the new gas-cooled manual / machine welding torch MTG 5300 / MTG 5300-M is compatible with all the welding power sources of the TransSteel series. This torch is fitted out with high-performance materials, ensuring reliability, robustness and superior handling. Its special geometry results in less heat absorption, while its ergonomically comfortable handle-shell and standardised Fronius anti-kink device ensure perfect torch handling.
