FRONIUS IG Public Display - the BIG one!
Many owners of pv systems are interested in presenting the data of their system to the general public.
With the FRONIUS IG Public Display, Fronius offers the possibility to present the data of a pv system on a large screen display. Fronius does not only provide an own display in Fronius design but also a control unit for other large screen displays. The control units are already available on the market, the FRONIUS IG Public Display will follow in spring 2004.
The appropriate display to the FRONIUS IG series is called “FRONIUS IG Public Display” and has especially been created and developed for the application on public buildings, such as schools, firms and official buildings. Fronius will co-operate intensively with the company RiCo here. If the system owner would like to create his own display design (e.g. with a photo of his system), he can buy the display directly from the company RiCo. In this case Fronius offers the control unit for the large screen. This component is available either as a plug-in card or in an external housing as box – just as you know it from other DatCom components.
The FRONIUS IG Public Display Box is executed in protection class IP 20, what means that it has to be installed indoors. In case that a FRONIUS IG Public Display Card is implemented in a FRONIUS IG Outdoors, of course the whole system fits for outdoor application. If the customer buys the screen directly from RiCo, he can choose the size, the number of characters and the number of lines as well. In case that a Sensor Card or Box is integrated in the DatCom system, the display can also show those values.
It is possible to connect up to 100 FRONIUS IG inverters to one large screen, which will always show the data of the whole pv system. Fronius will offer not only the Public Display Card or Box but also a display in a standardised Fronius design.
This product has got an alpha-numeric display with two lines and eight characters each. Parameter settings can easily be made via the software FRONIUS IG.access.
