Quick and easy: inverter updates with the Fronius Update Package

With its programme of ongoing developments, Fronius aims to offer products that feature state-of-the-art technology. Of course, these new developments include the firmware installed in the inverters, which is continually being enhanced.

The new Fronius Update Package means that the firmware in all existing Fronius inverters can be updated very easily.
The device update is straightforward and takes only a few minutes, ensuring that the device is upgraded to reflect latest developments.
Before the actual update process can begin, the relevant Fronius Solar.update software must be downloaded from the Fronius homepage. The Fronius Converter USB is then connected to your PC and linked to the Fronius Com Card installed in the inverter using the supplied cable. Subsequently, the software can be started and the appropriate update can be selected. After that the software installs automatically.
The Fronius Update Package includes the Fronius Com Card, Fronius Converter USB and connecting cable.
