Solar Electronics succeeds on the US market

Santa Barbara, California. Just a few months after the establishment of the Fronius Solar Electronics Division in the USA, Fronius sales staff successfully on this market and the first container full of FRONIUS IG inverters has already been sent.

Like in Europe, Fronius USA will organise its distribution network via sales partners. Already four of the largest PV distributors of the country became Fronius sales partners.

A remarkable characteristic for the success of the FRONIUS IG inverters are the training sessions which Fronius offers for interested PV installers. “The participants are very interested and also impressed by the user-friendly construction and the easy mounting system of the inverters”, says Mr. Brian Farhi, the professional trainer.

Recently, Fronius USA obtained the UL certification. Moreover, Fronius has successfully com-pleted eligibility for the CEC (California Energy Commission) and NYSERDA (New York State Energy Research and Development Authority), which are two state level incentive programs. This listing allows local installers in California and New York to take advantage of the great features and benefits of the FRONIUS IG inverters have built into them.

The success of Fronius in the USA is a great motivation for the whole team – not only for further activities on the US-market but also in Europe.
