Fronius endurance tests for highest inverter quality

Products by Austrian company Fronius are internationally renowned for their quality. In order to meet high expectations both now and in the future, experts work continuously to ensure that Fronius inverters are rigorously tested.

Endurance tests are based on national and international regulations. However, Fronius places its own additional requirements on the devices that go well beyond what is stipulated. These tests cover various aspects of product performance, such as demonstrating the presence of electrical properties, response on the grid, measuring efficiency and checking mechanical strength, e.g. for transport purposes.
The performance of the inverters under demanding conditions is tested to see how they respond to environmental influences such as water, dust, salt or temperature.

Other tests determine how long the devices will be able to comply with the requirements. These endurance tests take place under extreme conditions that really put the inverters through their paces.

Each type of inverter undergoes continual testing: during the development stage, in pre-production and immediately after leaving the production line. Products are also selected at random and subjected to exhaustive testing on a daily basis.
