The Fronius Interface Card easy has a serial interface with an open data protocol that enables the latest PV system data to be downloaded from a Fronius IG inverter and processed:
- Real time data
- Day information
- Total data
- Year information (only in combination with a Datalogger)
Power is supplied to the Fronius Interface Card easy via the AC side of the inverter so that the card is supplied with power 24h a day.
Overview
Because the Interface Card easy is not a Solar Net component, it requires neither a Com Card nor a Datalogger for operation. The Interface Card easy offers the following advantages:
- Integration of system data in other IT systems (building control, alarm systems, etc.)
- Data transfer to PC for other viewing purposes (e.g. to include PV data on a homepage)
- Interface to other data logging systems
The Interface Card easy can be used for Fronius IG inverter serial numbers 14330071 and higher following a software update. A software update is no longer required for serial numbers 1715xxxx and higher. In the case of older Fronius IG inverters, a hardware update is required in addition to the software update.
