Award for Fronius at AutoZum 2009
12.02.2009
Every two years the latest trends and developments in the field of workshop equipment, car spare parts and accessories can be seen at the Salzburg exhibition site. This year, Fronius again demonstrated its Acctiva battery charging systems, and was honoured for its long-term commitment to the fair - it was there at the very first AutoZum back in 1974.
There was a major question mark hanging over this year's event, the 35th anniversary of the Salzburg AutoZum trade fair, particularly as the news emanating from the automobile and supplier industries in the the past few months has been an almost constant tale of woe. However, the four days of the fair, which was held between January 14th and 17th, were alive with optimism and a dynamically resolute attitude.
Fronius presented the Acctiva product range that have obtained approvals from major players such as VW; Porsche and Daimler. The large number of visitors to the Fronius stand underlined the growing importance of reliable battery chargers. The more electronic components crammed into a modern car, the more the demand on its battery grows. Complex in-car electronics require complex diagnosis procedures in the workshop. Fronius and its intelligent battery chargers meet today's requirements and provide workshops with a future-proof investment.
In addition to the Acctiva Easy (for showroom and private use), the revamped Acctiva Multicharger and the typical battery charging systems for the workshop, Acctiva Professional and Acctiva Professional Flash, were also on display.
In summary the AutoZum was very successful for Fronius, the demand for reliable and sustainable battery charging systems for the workshop is given despite the current difficulut economic situation.
