Fronius attends the first CeMAT South America in Brazil
South America is one of the largest growth regions in the world. In light of this, Deutsche Messe AG held the first CeMAT SOUTH AMERICA in the Centro de Exposicoes Imigrantes in the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo between April 4th and 7th 2011. The Fronius Battery Charging Systems division was also present.
More than 175 exhibitors from 18 countries covered an area of 16,000 m² at CeMAT SOUTH AMERICA in Sao Paulo.
In among renowned manufacturers such as Clark, Demag Cranes, Dematic, Exide, Hyster, Jungheinrich, Knapp, Linde, Still, Toyota and Yale, Fronius do Brasil was on hand to present the unique Active Inverter Technology for South American markets on its 16m² stand.
At the moment, only 60 Hz transformer technology is available on the Brazilian market. Fronius impressed visitors with features such as 40% less energy consumption and the corresponding drop in CO2 emissions, longer service life of traction batteries due to correct and gentle charging when compared with conventional technologies, and much more.
Growing market for intralogistics in South America
The importance of the South American market has been discovered by German intralogistics providers in particular. As a result, leading managers (e.g. from Still, Linde and Jungheinrich) were in attendance to take stock of the situation for themselves.
"The work and effort of our sales specialist Mariana Kroker and the support from the Brazilian team have created an excellent starting point for FRONIUS in the growing Brazilian market. Establishing new technology on the market requires time and application. However, we will soon be able to reap the rewards," explains Harald Scherleitner.
150 useful contacts were made, which will now be intensified in the future.
