Welding Technology division - Major strides in internationalisation

To provide even more efficient support to the market and to increase customer proximity, not to mention boost market share, Fronius decided to establish new subsidiaries in Spain, Poland and England. Our aim is to become the supplier of choice for every company that requires welding technology. We place a great deal of emphasis on a high standard of quality, service, know-how, and a strong market presence. A local office is the logical consequence.

Spain - Fronius Espana S.L.U.
Since 2.1.2012, Fronius Espana S.L.U. has been the first point of contact for Spanish customers and companies interested in arc and resistance spot welding and automation. Starting with 16 employees, the intention is to further strengthen the market position in welding technology and make the company even more accessible to customers. Fronius is market leader in Spain in the robotics and automotive sectors and is one of the top 3 suppliers of manual welding systems (2011 market study). The global technology leader and European market leader chose the Madrid suburb of Leganés as the site of its new office. Four additional regional sales and customer service teams will provide support across the country.

Poland - Fronius Polska Sp.z o.o.
The Fronius Polska Sp.z o.o. site in Gliwice opened its doors to its welding technology customers in Poland on 9.1.2012. Fronius provides the Polish welding market with solutions for MIG/MAG, TIG, electrode, laser, plasma and resistance spot welding, not to mention automation. Fitted out to extremely high technical standards, the TechSupport team and RepairCenter in Gliwice emphasise the importance of being able to deliver a first-class service to customers. Since January 2012, two sales and service teams have been in place to provide customers with the speediest possible on-site backup. Fronius plans to create two more teams in Gdańsk‎ and Poznań. In addition, customers will benefit from services such as calibration, a warranty extension and a maintenance contract.

UK -  Fronius UK Limited
Fronius UK Limited, based in Kingston, Milton Keynes, added the Welding Technology division to its line-up on 1.1.2012. The company started in February 2010 with the Solar Energy division, and followed this up with the Battery Charging Systems division in September 2011. Supported by 13 highly-qualified staff, Fronius UK offers its customers innovative arc and spot resistance welding systems, together with automation. Three sales and customer service teams are planned that will provide top-quality service and proximity to customers. Everything is now in place for a further expansion of the Fronius brand in Great Britain.
