TransTig MagicWave (WIG)
During Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding, the arc burns between the workpiece and a non-melting tungsten electrode. An inert gas, usually Argon, is used as the shielding gas. TIG welding is used to satisfy the most stringent seam and surface quality requirements. With the TransTig and MagicWave ranges, Fronius offers fully digitised welding systems with Active Wave technology for the quietest possible TIG AC welding coupled with ultimate stability.
