Exclusive information and geocaching for Fronius Service Partners
09.07.2010
The tradition of holding the Fronius Service Partner meeting close to Munich on the eve of Intersolar Europe was evident again this year. Over 140 certified PV installers from Germany and Austria attended to hear the latest news from the company and enjoy the entertaining supporting programme.
Murnau, the Upper Bavarian town in the foothills of the Alps, provided the backdrop for this year's Fronius Service Partner meeting.
The morning was given over completely to technical presentations from Fronius experts on the new Fronius CL central inverter series and the latest technical developments. Naturally, plenty of time was again set aside for lively discussions between the Service Partners and the Fronius team.
The idyllically situated Kreut Alm, with its stunning views of the Alps, was the destination for lunch and a range of afternoon activities. Brilliant sunshine and early-summer temperatures put everyone in the mood for some sport.
After a substantial buffet featuring Bavarian specialities, the delegates were kitted out with a map, a GPS and "geocaching data" and set off (after a brief explanation of the rules) on the search for some hidden treasures. Speed and skill were tested at the various stations along the way.
Everyone met up again afterwards in the beer garden for the presentation ceremony.
The next FSP meeting in north Germany is already being planned.
