Selectiva battery charging systems at LogiMAT 2011

Responding with innovation – impressing with quality, this year's trade fair theme really allowed Fronius to shine. Selectiva battery charging systems were presented by several Fronius sales partners at the three-day event in Stuttgart.

This year's international trade fair for distribution and the flow of information and material took place between February 8th and 10th 2011. It was again the benchmark event for decision-makers from service providers, industry, and commercial enterprises. With more than 22.200 visitors the exhibition could register record attendance in this year. Altogether 770 exhibitors from 18 countries were presenting their products and services at the trade fair.

Fronius displayed the Selectiva battery charging systems for intralogistics on the stands of sales partners Keckeisen, Atec and Stuba. The focus was on the innovative Active Inverter Technology, which combines the advantages of 50 Hz transformer technology and inverter technology. The Selectiva product group and tailor-made accessories, such as the dust filter, the remote indication, the wall bracket and the Air-Puls option, were on display.

As well as participating at the fair, Fronius used the opportunity to take a closer look at the subject of charging technology in a technical presentation entitled "Battery management and energy efficiency for forklift trucks". Exide, Linde and Jungheinrich took part in discussions and also gave presentations on this topic.

The high level of interest and positive mood of the visitors rounded off another successful event. Important for Fronius was the networking that took place within the sector – especially with forklift truck manufacturers and trade journalists.
