New Fronius String Control 100/12 for comprehensive string monitoring

With the new Fronius String Control 100/12 Fronius offers another product for professional string monitoring.

The new Fronius String Control 100/12 allows up to 12 module strings with a total maximum current of 100 A to be combined on one DC main line.
The string currents are continuously compared via two measuring channels. This allows malfunctions in the system caused, for example, by shadows or even a cable break to be detected quickly and reliably.
The use of string fuses means Fronius String Control 100/12 also takes on the function of protecting the module array. The integrated fuse holders are very easy to use and ensure that everything is neat and tidy.
To guarantee the maximum possible protection, the Fronius String Control 100/12 also provides an installation option for a rail-mounted overvoltage protector (type 1 or type 2).

The robust plastic housing and IP55 protection rating make the Fronius String Control 100/12 ideally suited for installation outdoors. - The use of a wall bracket is not necessary.

The latest string monitoring product from Fronius is particularly suitable for combination with Fronius IG Plus inverters and is expected to be available from May 2011.
