New generation of PV inverters: "FRONIUS IG Plus"

"FRONIUS IG Plus" is the latest generation of grid-connected inverters of the FRONIUS International GmbH.
The completely new and unique power-plug system makes possible the separate mounting of connection area and power stacks. This feature eases the installation of the devices enormously. In case of necessary service work, the connection area – with all the wirings and settings – can be left on the wall, only the power stacks have to be taken off.
Despite the light weight of only 13 kg (4 kW-device), the new inverter offers many other advantages, as for example the HF-transformer, high degree of efficiency, galvanic separation for maximum possible safety and integrated DC-isolator. The FRONIUS IG Plus is suitable for all modules available on the market, especially for all types of thin-layer modules.
Due to its robust metal housing, the FRONIUS IG Plus can be mounted indoors as well as outdoors.
The launch of the new FRONIUS IG Plus (4 kW) will be in mid 2007. The higher power classes will follow at the End of 2007.
