Solar Power International: strong Fronius presence on the US PV market

Solar Power International is one of the leading international trade fairs in the solar energy sector. This year's event took place in Dallas, Texas, which became something of a solar mecca between October 17th and 20th, attracting thousands of visitors from all over the world. On a stand covering some 190 m², Fronius exhibited its products with its trademark expertise and once again reinforced its position as quality leader.

The proven Fronius IG Plus inverter series was on display and its advantages left many American installers seriously impressed.
However, the Fronius CL central inverter was the focus of everyone's attention. The success of its European market launch is now being mirrored in the USA.

In the area of system monitoring, the new Fronius Solar.web app for smartphones was also presented. This offers the customer optimum flexibility when it comes to system monitoring.
The trend towards professional, manufacturer-independent system monitoring by third-party suppliers is on the rise, especially for larger systems. Fronius has been following this trend and has already tested methods of integrating our inverters into such systems. One example is the Obvius AquiSuite datalogger that was unveiled at the fair. The excellent feedback indicates that this type of solution has great potential.

Away from the product range, the Fronius Service Partner Counter introduced the partner program and its advantages. Numerous installers took the opportunity to find out more about the program and register their interest. The launch is planned for early 2012.
