Fronius IG Plus V series - A strong addition to the family
The next generation Fronius IG Plus V inverter builds on a successful model with multiple enhancements, including maximum power harvest, a built-in six circuit string combiner, integrated, lockable DC Disconnect, significantly improved efficiency, and unbeatable reliability. New, larger power classes expand the proven Fronius IG family (from 3.0 to 12 kW). And numerous advantages provide consistently high earnings.
Fronius CL - first central inverter series with a modular system design in the US market
The Fronius CL is the first central inverter series with a modular system design to be introduced by Fronius to the US market. The market introduction phase for the Fronius CL 55.5 Delta and Fronius CL 60.0 WYE 277 has started at the beginning of 2011. The Fronius CL is perfectly suited to commercial photovoltaic systems of up to several hundred kilowatts. Currently, commercial systems represent the largest market segment in the US, which is forecast to continue growing rapidly.
The unique Fronius MIX™ concept ensures the highest yield in all irradiance situations. Reliability, long service life, high partial load efficiency, easy installation, a revolutionary service concept and its low weight make the Fronius CL one extraordinary product. This also ensures a short amortization time for system costs. Fronius CL devices can be used for both outdoor and indoor installations thanks to a Nema 3R protection class as well as a standard aluminum housing.
Fronius Service Partner Program – unique service with a personal touch
The unique Fronius Service Partner program was established in Europe in 2001. Now this successful concept is also being introduced in the US. It provides technical training to PV installers so that they are qualified to independently service Fronius inverters.
This ensures that service is even faster and easier. PV system installers can offer their customers first class after-sales service without expensive service and maintenance contracts. The installer remains independent of the shipping of replacement devices from the inverter manufacturer. The Fronius Service Partner also receives additional support through services in the areas of service, marketing and sales, for example, through the comprehensive information platform Fronius Partnerweb.
New Fronius DATCOM interfaces
Fronius will give visitors an advance look at two new interface upgrades for communicating between inverters and a third device. This makes Fronius inverters more easily compatible and flexible when used in remote system monitoring applications.
Fronius Solar.web app
The Solar.web app from Fronius is an innovative solution for accessing data from your PV system via smart phone anywhere in the world. This app is a version of the Solar.web system monitoring portal optimized for smart phones. It gives system operators 24/7 access to their energy yield data. The Fronius Solar.web app also provides an overview of all registered systems belonging to the system operator.
A new version optimized for iPad and Android tablets will be presented at Solar Power for the first time. New features like System Comparison further expand system monitoring capabilities.
Fronius Approves Obvius AcquiSuite as Commercial Third-party PV System Monitoring Option
Fronius has tested and approved the Obvius AcquiSuite data monitoring device for integration of Fronius solar inverters with third-party software via Modbus.
Fronius Arc Detector
The Fronius Arc Detector will be a highlight at Solar Power 2011. This is a new device that helps to maintain the safety standard of PV systems at a constant high level. PV systems have a long service life, which means that some electrical connections may come loose over time causing dangerous arcs.
