Fronius Extends Warranty Period!

From 1 February 2005 Fronius will be extending the warranty period for FRONIUS IG inverters from 2 to 5 years at no additional cost!

In concrete terms this new extension of the warranty to 5 years means:

Performance Description

Fronius guarantees proper functioning of your photovoltaic inverter during the warranty period. Fronius undertakes to repair any existing defect for which Fronius is responsible free of charge at its premises. Fronius will not accept any costs over and above this.
Warranty claims are excluded in cases of improper installation, use and operation of the unit and in the event of force majeure.

Scope of Warranty

The warranty applies only to the inverter clearly defined by the serial number. Other components of the photovoltaic system and FRONIUS IG system additions are excluded from the warranty extension. Also excluded from the warranty is damage to the inverter that is attributable to other components of the photovoltaic system.

Proof of Warranty

Purchase date on the invoice, delivery date/consignment date and report by the power supply company.
Claims arising from the statutory warranty will not be limited by the arrangements referred to.
