How to run a Fronius Solar.update
The use of Fronius inverters or monitoring components automatically brings the possibility to run a software update on devices directly on site without having to return them to Fronius.
This video (language English) shows you step by step how to run a Fronius Solar.update successfully.
Fronius Solar.updates are available for the following products: Fronius IG, Fronius IG Plus, Fronius CL, Fronius IG TL, Fronius Agilo and Fronius Datalogger easy/pro.
Prerequisite for the update is the use of a Fronius Update Package or Fronius Datalogger easy/pro respectively Fronius Datalogger Web / Fronius Datamanager.

Fronius Solar.update/Agilo
The package 'Fronius Solar.update/Agilo' contains the latest software for Fronius Agilo inverters
It is recommended to reload the particular country setup in your inverter (e.g. Setup DE, Setup ES, etc.), so that all changes have been applied in the memory of the device. In case of any questions about reloading the country setup in the service menu, please get in contact with your national TechSupport hotline.
The package „Fronius update/Agilo“ contains the latest software for inverters of the Fronius Agilo series. It can be executed via Fronius Solar.Service software.
Fronius update/Agilo Firmware
Fronius Solar.update/IG Plus/CL
The package 'Fronius Solar.update/IG Plus/CL' contains the latest software for all inverters of the Fronius IG Plus and Fronius CL series.
Please note that this update is NOT applicable for US-devices!
Fronius Firmware update/IG TL
The package 'Fronius Solar.update/IG TL' contains the latest software for all inverters of the Fronius IG TL series. It can be executed with the Fronius Update Package or Fronius Datalogger directly via PC.
The package 'Fronius USB update/IG TL' contains the latest software for all inverters of the Fronius IG TL series. It can be executed via USB Stick.

Fronius Datalogger Update 5.01.22 & Fronius Solar.update/Datalogger2
The package 'Fronius Datalogger Update 5.01.22' contains the latest software for every Fronius Datalogger (easy/pro).
The Fronius Datalogger easy/pro is equipped with a serial interface as well as a modem interface.
The package 'Fronius Solar.update/Datalogger2' contains the latest software for every Fronius Datalogger2 (easy/pro).
The Fronius Datalogger2 easy/pro is equipped a serial interface, a modem interface as well as a USB interface.

With the Update for the Fronius Datalogger Web you implement the latest software version to your DATCOM-allrounder and benefit from advantages such as:
- Update-ability directly via Internet (manual update downloads are no longer required)
- The network settings have been fundamentally reworked
- The website is now also available in Dutch
