Increased flexibility with new Fronius converters

Fronius has released two new interface converters for the simple integration of third-party components (e.g. data loggers) into a professional PV monitoring system.

One of the new additions to the Fronius range is the Fronius Converter USB, which converts the RS485 interface of the Fronius DATCOM system into a USB hardware interface.
The other is an RS232 converter, which converts the existing RS485 interface of the Fronius DATCOM system into an RS232 hardware interface.
Both products are pure interface converters that do not carry out any conversion of the software protocol.
The Fronius Converter RS232 is available as a card or a box. If the plug-in card is used, the degree of protection will be the same as that of the inverter. The degree of protection for the box version of both converters is IP 20.
