The 29th BVL (Federal Logistics Association) Logistics Dialogue

Like every year, the event revolves around logistics and material handling; it was held this year in the Pyramid in the Event & Congress Center in Vösendorf, Vienna. Fronius had its own stand and once again used the opportunity to discuss charging technology.

On March 14th and 15th 2012, the entire Austrian logistics family met up for its annual exchange of views. Under the motto "Network efficiently – improve results," sustainability, infrastructure and innovative supply chains were the main topics of discussion.

This year, for the first time, Fronius gave a presentation, entitled "Modern battery charging technologies improve efficiency in intralogistics". Division head Harald Scherleitner demonstrated the potential savings made using Fronius "Active Inverter Technology" and looked at some examples of real-life success stories from a variety of users.

In addition to the technical presentations over the two days, the evening event with a gala dinner and the "Harvest Festival" show from "Heilbutt & Rosen" was one of the Logistics Dialogue highlights.

The event is an annual fixture for Fronius and gives it the opportunity to strengthen and maintain its contacts within the sector.
