Wels/Frankfurt am Main. Every two years, the Frankfurt exhibition site turns itself over to the world of motor vehicles and workshops. More than half of the visitors attracted to the automotive industry’s leading international trade fair, held between 14th and 19th September 2010, originated from outside Germany.
For the first time ever, this year saw Fronius seize one of the most sought-after stands in Hall 8 - the most popular hall for the workshop equipment and repair sector. With Fronius battery charging systems making their Automechanika debut, and on a stand boasting a central position within the hall, hordes of guests made their way to see what Fronius had to offer. The
Visitors from around the world were keen to find out about the new Acctiva Professional 35A for the workshop. On new product stands and a workbench, members of the Fronius team demonstrated the functions and simple user guide for the battery charging system.
The international nature of the Automechanika brought a large number of potential dealers and partners to the Fronius stand.
Contacts with existing partners, dealers and the specialist press were further deepened and reinforced. Several Fronius partners also played host to Fronius battery charging systems on their own trade fair stands, such as Förch Group, an international supplier of workshop equipment. Similarly, Autologic, the diagnosis equipment manufacturer, presented the Acctiva Professional Flash as the ideal partner to their own diagnostic device. Fronius were also represented by German partners Helmut Niemeyer GmbH and Keckeisen Akkumulatoren, long-term partner FAN and Danish partner Netech. Just as they did two years ago, Akkuteam had Fronius OEM battery charging systems on display on both the Fronius and Volkswagen stands.
Alongside the Acctiva Professional 35A as product highlight; Acctiva Easy, Acctiva Seller, Acctiva Professional Flash, Acctiva Twin 15A and Acctiva Multicharger devices were all presented at the Automechanika.
Further Automechanika highlights included the new Acctiva Easy sales packaging and the redesigned Acctiva Easy point-of-sales display, created as sales support tools for Fronius subsidiaries, partners and specialist dealers.
