The parent plant, at the same time financial headoffice as well as production of transformers and torches. Since the time of electric shop of the 1950s up to the expansion to Thalheim till the 1970s the Fronius life and work took place in the local centre of Pettenbach - and animated additionallya Green meadow in Pettenbach in 2001.

Today torches develop in Pettenbach - which play a large role in the perfectly controllable welding system concerning achievement and user-friendliness. Besides that technology remained in Pettenbach: the development and the production of transformers.
