Otto Schuster the new Global Manager for Marketing, Sales and Services

The former Sales Director of the welding technology division, Otto Schuster, has taken up the reigns in the interdisciplinary field of marketing, sales and service. He assumed his new responsibilities on February 1st 2009.

The new Global Manager, a Fronius employee for the last twenty years, is looking forward to meeting the challenges of his new post. Through his drive and ambition he has built up many years of experience and expertise, gained both on the job and through additional training courses. We interviewed Otto Schuster where he introduced himself and shared his vision for the future:

Could you give a few words on each individual division?

Otto Schuster:

Battery charging systems:
Targeting the correct market segment is very important for the future. It is also the oldest Fronius division and we will expand its international presence in the coming years. There is still massive potential for growth within the market.

Solar technology:
Fronius and solar technology has been a winning combination for some time now. This division operates within a relatively fast-paced and constantly changing market.

Welding technology:
The next objective is to clearly position ourselves in the huge American market while not forgetting our loyal European customers.

Where do you see Fronius in ten years’ time?

Otto Schuster:
I see Fronius in ten years’ time as being a company that employs many thousands of people. I anticipate that Fronius will be a recognised global player.
