True achievement

A recent study of mechanical engineering firms has shown that nowadays, the biggest earnings and growth potential is to be found in services. The future is not in classic sales, but in pre- and post-sale customer care.

Which brings us straight to the main focus of  this edition: Achievement. Everybody's talking about it. And as a concept, it seems to characterise our society like no other. We  even expect our children to be achievers. But just what is achievement? How does it manifest itself? What direction is it developing in?
