Fin-tube cladding system

The Fronius Fin-tube welding plant  has been specially designed for primary or repair cladding on vaporiser walls in the heat exchanger industry or refuse incinerators.

The belt-driven trolley enables the connection of 2 torches including the oscillation unit and the manual adjustment and swivelling unit.

The motorised rail system allows a horizontal welding range of 10m and a vertical welding range of 4m (made-to-measure also possible). A highly sophisticated fall arresting device ensures the necessary safety on site.

Plant configuration:

• System-controller FCU-200 with remote control unit FRC-200
• Carriage (belt driven) with uptakes for 2 torches
• Mechanical fall-arrester for carriage
• Weld head with 2 oscillation units, mech. slides and swivel units for exact torch positioning
• Motorized horizontal rail for positioning of the vertical rail unit
• MIG-MAG power sources  400 A with cooling units 
• Remote controls for power sources
• Wire feeders
• Robacta Drive machine torch/10 m 
• Connection lines/hose packs
