The absolutely innovative feature of this resistance welding process is the circulating process tape, and the almost unbelievable advantages resulting from this: each welding spot is completely reproducible, each point is welded with an effectively unused electrode, the process reliability is unrivalled, there is no surface spatter, and all types of joint are possible, even aluminium with aluminium or steel with aluminium. Different thicknesses, materials, as well as two or more sheets can be reliably joined.

After every weld, the process tape moves to its next position. The contact surface therefore always remains clean. The same quality as at the start, weld for weld. Weld for weld a “new” electrode. This makes the quality so completely predictable. The surface of the electrode remains unaffected throughout the entire process.
Base metals
Steel, coated steel, high strength and ultra-high strength steels, aluminium materials, chrome/nickel, titanium, magnesium, combinations of materials such as steel/aluminium
Fields of use
automobile and component supply industry
