Filter-welding cell

The main priority of the automobile industry is the highest reproducible quality with maximum cost efficiency.
The Fronius Filter-welding cell  fulfils this objective and enables fully automatic TIG-welding of fuel filters or expansion tanks for air conditioning systems.
Two independent rotary devices enable alternating assembly during welding.
Pneumatic component centring and fixing and horizontal and vertical torch positioning guarantee practically maintenance-free and problem-free operation.

 Plant configuration:  

• Welding-cell with 2 rotation devices incl. housing and suction hood
• System controller FPA 2003 with remote control unit FPA 2003-RC 
• Pneumatic workpiece centering and workpiece setting 
• 1 set clamp jaws
• Pneumatic torch motion  
• Weld shield (moving with torch)
• Light-barrier controlled security system 
• TIG AC/DC power source 260 A with cooling unit
• TIG machine torch 400 A
