PV system monitoring with Fronius SolarWeb
28.06.2007
This free, benchmark-setting web service was developed by Fronius to replace Fronius IG.online.
“Very user-friendly, rich in information and with comprehensive analysis options, those were the top development criteria,” says Thomas Mühlberger, project manager Data Communication.
“Interactive diagrams provide daily, monthly and yearly views. You can also zoom in to detailed views like a specific daily view, for example.
Key system data and any warning messages are displayed for the user right on the Start page."
Individual access rights for requirements-based utilization
Fronius SolarWeb allows you to assign different authorization levels. System owners can use “guest access” to provide a view of select system data. If the installer provides the monitoring function, “full access” is also available, which would allow the installer to access and modify all system information as well as PV system settings.
All PV systems at one glance
This makes it easy for installers to provide system monitoring as a customer service: All systems can be accessed via one login: This saves time logging in and out, and enables you to create completely new analysis and display variants such as a direct comparison of several systems.
System owners can register at http://www.fronius.com/. You will then receive an e-mail with SolarWeb access information.
Existing data from Fronius IG.online will be automatically transferred to SolarWeb for customers: Just log in and start surfing.
This new, free web service will be replacing Fronius IG.online. However, both services will continue to be available for an additional three months.
