Fronius Solar Electronics opens subsidiary in Italy

The newly formed Italian subsidiary of Fronius International GmbH began operations on January 1, 2008.

"Fronius Solarelectronic Energie Rinnovabilli s.r.l." headquartered in Bussolengo, near Verona, is a support and service branch office. Due to its good transportation network and central location it is an optimal starting point for future activities of the Solar Electronics Division in Italy.
All sales activities will continue to be handled by Fronius International GmbH.

The preparations for founding this branch office were carried out in a timely manner so that we could get a jump on this growing market with first-class support services. This new branch is a clear sign of our commitment to our Italian partners and will help us intensify customer relationships," says Hannes Wendeler, Sales Director Fronius International.
 
Currently, there are 5 employees onsite taking care of our Italian customers. Along with a wide range of support services, product and service training is also very important: In addition to general product training, Fronius will also be providing special service seminars for installers who would like to be qualified as Fronius Service Partners. The Fronius Service Partner concept has been very successful. The presence onsite should help to more quickly expand this partner network and provide more efficient support.
