SUNRISE
- SUNRISE inverter hangs in the impedance test after it is started in the morning
- Although my SUNRISE inverter is connected to the mains, it is not supplying any power
- Use of the current Fronius IG.access software for my SUNRISE inverter in conjunction with a datalogger possible?
- The display on my inverter still reads “SUNRISE” and the version number
- Data transfer between the PC and datalogger no longer possible
My SUNRISE inverter hangs in the middle of the impedance test after it is started in the morning.
This indicates a fault in the ENS processors. Please contact the Fronius Service Hotline to request new processors.
My SUNRISE inverter hangs during startup after it is started in the morning (display: “Startup 000”).
This indicates an internal memory fault in the unit. Please contact the Fronius Service Hotline to rectify the error.
Although my SUNRISE inverter is connected to the mains, it is not supplying any power (display: “POWER: 0000W”)
In this case, fixed voltage mode was accidentally activated during unit setup. Please check whether the “Fixed voltage” option is set to 000 in Setup. If this option is set to 001, please reset it to 000 as described in the operating instructions.
The display of my SUNRISE inverter contains several bars rather than the normal display.
This indicates a component fault. This can be rectified by an electrician. Please contact the Service Hotline.
Can I actually use the current Fronius IG.access software for my SUNRISE inverter in conjunction with a datalogger?
The Fronius IG.access system monitoring software was specially developed for the Fronius IG series and is not compatible with the SUNRISE series. Version 3.0 of the SUNRISE FOR WINDOWS software is the latest release of the system monitoring software for this series of mains-connected inverters.
Dataloggers are no longer being produced for SUNRISE units. Can I connect my SUNRISE inverter to a PC even without a Datalogger?
This is possible in principle, but you will only be able to view the current values and the values will only be archived while the computer is switched on.
To establish a direct connection with the PC, you must set the PC DATA option in Setup to 001 and enter a code under the Options à Registration option in the software on the PC. The Fronius Service Hotline will be able to tell you the code for your unit.
The display on my inverter still reads “SUNRISE” and the version number. Is it faulty?
This type of display occurs when the unit is unable to detect the mains supply. Please have a licensed electrical contractor check the fuses inside the unit.
The mains fuse upstream of my inverter constantly trips.
This indicates a fault in the power module. The unit must be replaced or sent for repair.
It is no longer possible to transfer data between the PC and Datalogger even though it has been working perfectly for a long time.
Please check the status of the indicator LED on the datalogger. This should flash once every 5 seconds for every inverter that is connected. If this is not the case (LED does not flash or lights up constantly), please disconnect the Datalogger from the mains for a few minutes and then restart it.
