Fronius IG COM Card and Datalogger: Network interface card and data collector for PV systems with up to 100 inverters.

The Heart of the Fronius DATCOM System.

The Com Card is the network card of the individual inverter(s). A Plug-in card is required by every inverter in a system using DATCOM  in order to send data to the Datalogger.

The Datalogger is the system’s information collector. It is the interface between inverter (via Com Card) and PC. Here the data is bundled and pre-processed for the Fronius IG.access software.

The Datalogger is available either as a plug-in card or box. Both are simply plugged into the inverter using the plug & play principle. The card is recommended for distances of up to 20 m between the inverter and PC; the box can bridge a distance of up to 1 km. The Datalogger stores every detail of the PV system for a period of up to 3 years.

The Datalogger easy was created for small systems with only one Fronius IG. It has the same functions as its big brother – Datalogger pro – but is restricted to one inverter. Low-cost and high-power.

Fronius Datalogger Web

The network-compatible Fronius Datalogger Web is the cornerstone for comprehensive PV system monitoring. It can be easily integrated into existing network structures via an Ethernet interface, opening up numerous channels for data communication:

Full system control via the PC. In combination with the Fronius Solar.access software, Fronius Datalogger Web provides full setting options and data preparation for the PV system onsite via a PC.

Multi-user capability within the local network. Several users can access important system information simultaneously via a separate website – using a browser that is independent of the operating system.

Real-time data available online. For the first time, real-time as well as archived PV system data can be accessed worldwide via the bi-directional connection between Fronius Datalogger Web and the Fronius Solar.web online service.


Fronius Datalogger Web is fully compatible with all Fronius products (inverters, DATCOM components, software programs). A Fronius Com card for the inverter is required for operation.
