Solar electronics

Photovoltaics is a relatively new way of converting energy. It’s the name given to the technology that converts sunlight into electrical current. This means clean, renewable energy. No wonder that this issue is becoming ever more important.

Fronius has been involved in photovoltaics since 1992, and especially with solar electronics – controlling photovoltaic systems. We develop innovative inverter systems that convert direct current – captured by the solar modules – into ready-to-use alternating current. The electricity produced can now be fed into the public grid.
