Basics of the welding process

Welding is a complex matter, a science in itself. Different materials require different welding processes. Here is a basic outline of the most common techniques.

MIG welding
MIG is today’s most used welding process in trade and industry.

TIG welding
The TIG welding process provides optimum conditions for obtaining the best welding result possible.

Tandem welding
Tandem welding is a high-performance process derived from the MIG welding process.

DeltaSpot®
DeltaSpot® is a new resistance spot welding process that provides increased stability and reproducibility of results.

CMT® welding
CMT® is a modified MIG process that for the first time enables steel and aluminum to be joined using heat.

LaserHybrid welding
LaserHybrid is a high-performance process that combines the advantages of the MIG process with those of laser welding.
