This year, Fronius Deutschland GmbH is celebrating its 25th birthday. Perfectly timed to coincide with this anniversary, the company has begun construction of new company premises in the immediate vicinity of its sales centre in Neuhof-Dorfborn, Hesse. The groundbreaking ceremony for the project took place at a celebration on Friday 27/10/2017. The new building will house a warehouse, a workshop, administrative offices and much more – with space for approximately 140 employees. With this expansion, Fronius can offer its customers faster and more flexible service.

The new Fronius Deutschland company premises offer 5,200 square metres of usable floor space. The administrative area spans the ground and first floor, housing offices and meeting rooms for employees and visitors. The entrance area will be home to an in-house restaurant. In the future, the workshop will be located on the ground floor of the new two-storey building, providing the perfect space for carrying out technical services such as repairs, welding trials, and customer and employee training. The new building also offers space for a warehouse for storing spare and wearing parts for repairs, as well as welding systems available for hire.

In addition, the building conforms to many standards of sustainable building technology and energy supply. “We’re going to install a charging station for electric cars as well as a photovoltaic system to generate power for the building,” explained Heike Zahn, Managing Director of Fronius Deutschland, at the groundbreaking ceremony. “In building these new company premises not only do we want to create a working environment where our employees feel at home, we also want to highlight the importance of sustainability.” The new company premises will provide space for a total of 140 employees and are due to be completed by the end of 2018.
