Fronius installer search
Fronius offers a large network of high qualified Service Partners, who are glad to support you with more information regarding the topic MicroGrid.
MicroGrids in remote regions are often supplied by inverter chargers (inverters with batteries). Photovoltaic systems with Fronius inverters can easily be integrated into MicroGrids. They have a special MicroGrid setup for this purpose with various functions to ensure stable grid operation. The inverter provides the MicroGrid with as much energy as possible. The operator can tailor all the functions to achieve a perfectly coordinated setup of the photovoltaic system and inverter charger. Protection settings can be configured without restriction in the MicroGrid setup.
These inverter chargers have been tested for use with Fronius inverters:
The sun’s energy is absorbed by the solar modules in the form of direct current.
The inverter converts the direct current into the alternating current used as standard in the home and supplies the MicroGrid with as much PV energy as possible.
The current produced in the inverter can be saved in the battery using the inverter chargers.
The surplus PV energy is stored in a battery.
The consumers are supplied with predominantly solar energy via the MicroGrid system.
Diesel generators can also be integrated as a backup energy supply.
