The future-proof inverter for small self-consumption PV systems.
Energy suppliers use ripple control technology to remotely regulate the output of photovoltaic systems and other power plants. To control output, a special ripple control receiver is connected upstream of the inverter. It receives control signals transmitted via the grid and derives the necessary information from them. In the event of a grid overload, the grid operator can reduce or completely cut off the feed-in from the photovoltaic system. Ripple control receivers can be connected to the following Fronius inverters:
The dynamic feed-in control takes into account the current power demand in your home, before reducing the output of your photovoltaic system. Fronius inverters can easily be connected to a Fronius Smart Meter via the Modbus RTU SunSpec interface. This bidirectional meter records and optimises self-consumption, providing extremely quick and precise dynamic feed-in management.
Together with Fronius Solar.web, the Fronius Smart Meter presents a clear overview of power consumption within the home. Alternatively, Fronius inverters have an S0 interface to which a dedicated meter for dynamic feed-in control can be connected. This enables you to make the best use of the electricity you generate and retain an optimum feed-in rate. The feed-in limit can be set to meet individual requirements through the web interface of the inverter or the Fronius Datamanager. The following Fronius inverters support dynamic feed-in control using the S0 meter:
