HOW FRONIUS SYSTEM MONITORING WORKS
The basic component of the system monitoring solution is an inverter from the SnapINverter generation with an integrated Datalogger – the Fronius Datamanager 2.0. Inverters without a Datamanager can be retrofitted with the Fronius Datamanager Box 2.0 or Fronius Datamanager Card 2.0. The Datamanager is a communication centre that connects the inverter to the internet. It sends various photovoltaic system parameters, such as output and energy, directly to the Fronius Solar.web monitoring portal via the router. Here, the operator can view, analyse and compare the values, as well as adapt and optimise individual devices or functions if necessary. In addition to the photovoltaic system, the system also monitors values for the Fronius Energy Package. This includes the Fronius Symo Hybrid inverter, the Fronius Smart Meter and the Fronius Solar Battery. All current data is accessible at any time and is clearly analysed and displayed. Fronius Solar.web impresses with its user-friendliness and wide range of analysis options. In addition to the internet platform, the data can also be displayed on the Fronius Solar.web App, Fronius Solar.TV or locally on the Fronius Datamanager website.
To display all the energy values, the user can also connect the Datamanager to the bidirectional Fronius Smart Meter. Not only does this gather system data, but it also records and optimises household energy consumption using an intelligent energy management system. Furthermore, the integrated interfaces allow Fronius inverters to be easily incorporated into third-party systems.
AUTOMATED ERROR MESSAGES
Fronius system monitoring features an automated error messaging function, which immediately warns the operator about any defects or malfunctions. In the event of a fault, prompt technical support is provided by Fronius or a Fronius Service Partner. The system experts can easily identify and rectify the fault with the help of the fault data displayed on the Fronius Solar.web platform, thus minimising failures and yield losses.
